Woodford Fig Sour

We’ve just launched our range of festive cocktails at Monteiths. These seductive sippers have been designed with the festive period in mind and showcase a range of autumnal flavours that we think you’ll love. The menu is available until the end of January. Read on for the recipe to our favourite, the fig sour made with Woodford Reserve bourbon.
We’ve enlivened this rich and flavoursome bourbon with cinnamon, fig and citrus to create a classic sour with a winter twist. To recreate the drink at home simply dry shake the ingredients together without ice before adding ice and shaking again vigorously. Double strain over a shard of hand carved ice and garnish with a quarter fig.

37.5ml Woodford Reserve
12.5ml Fig Liqueur
 25ml lemon Juice
10ml Cinnamon Syrup
25ml Egg White
1 dash Angostura Bitters
